Lab director, Associate professor. Anders has worked with remote sensing for two decades, in research and consulting. His primary research interests are large-scale applications of Earth Observation technology, and development of robust image processing algorithms. His current research focus is satellite-derived bathymetry (SDB).
Claudia will start her MSc work in September 2021, for which she will study the use of remote sensing in disaster management, specifically focusing on volcanic eruptions.
MSc student. Galen comes to the shallow water lab with a background in GIS and remote sensing, having worked on Deep Learning for image processing at the Canada Centre for Remote Sensing. Galen's MSc research subject is still under development.
